J. Bell Cellars 2019 Pino Rosé, $25
90 pts. – Excellent
This salmon-hued Rosé of Pinot Noir displays an earthy side with prominent pear, white cherry and melon flavors threaded with hints of orange zest and wild strawberry. Spice notes emerge on the aftertaste.
J. Bell Cellars Isabell Elizabeth Fumé Blanc (NV), $25
90 pts. – Excellent
Textural and complexly built, this white wine reveals lots of upfront minerally spice, with baled straw accents that mingle with rich flavors of yellow apple, grapefruit and pineapple. A touch of dried herbs linger on the supple and expressive finish.
