Melissa Clubb, Brand Manager
What led you into the world of wine?
In a single word: family. Since the inception of L’Ecole Nº 41, women have been pivotal in shaping its narrative. Our Co-Founder Jean Ferguson was L’Ecole Nº 41’s first winemaker, as well as the first female winemaker in the Walla Walla Valley. She laid the foundation. Today, Jean’s daughter Megan Clubb, Megan’s daughter Rebecca Clubb-Olson and I collectively contribute to the winery’s legacy.
As Brand Manager and Megan’s daughter-in-law, my journey into the world of wine was a natural progression within this family story. Seeing the passion and dedication of my mother-in-law Megan and the rest of the L’Ecole team, I developed a deep appreciation for the craft and the community it fosters. Each bottle we produce is a testament to our shared commitment to quality, tradition, and innovation—a commitment that continues to drive us forward, united by our love for wine and our reverence for family.
