Director of Winemaking
What are you most passionate about?
I love creating a product that brings joy and comradery to folks as well as bringing friends and families together.
What are the defining moments of your career?
After being in the wine industry for over 30 years, there are quite a few defining moments. However, the most recent defining moment was navigating through the pandemic and reinventing the way we traditionally operated. Starting a restaurant was pivotal to our success and our ability to fully become a destination winery.
What led you into the world of wine?
My family led me into the world of wine. Arbor Crest was started when I was 12 so I really grew up around the industry and fell in love with the hard work, the romance, and the joy it brings to others!
What is your greatest achievement?
My greatest career achievement is navigating 25 years of making consistently great wines while navigating the ever-changing climate of business. The number of times that we had to reinvent ourselves to stay relevant with the current changing market is astonishing. However, Arbor Crest is still here and going strong after 42 years of being in the wine industry!
What challenge excites you the most?
I love figuring out problems and finding new ways to improve our winemaking and the business, whether it be a quick fix or something long term.
What does your ‘happy place’ look like?
My happy place is on either on a mountain top overlooking a beautiful valley or beside a beach sipping amazing wines with my husband.
