What are the moments that define your work or career?
Succession Wines was established in 2015 to follow a passion, focus on the important, and build a family legacy. The acquisition of Alta Cellars allowed for continued growth, supporting our overarching goals. Through it all, my career in this industry has been built on hard work and defined by moments of creativity, resilience, and community.
The most pivotal and defining moment of my life has been the unexpected passing of my husband, Brock, in August 2023. In all ways he encouraged me to be creative, engrain myself within our community, and accept the things we can’t control. Over the past several months I’ve had to adapt to change, learn from setbacks and embrace new opportunities.
Through adversity I’ve discovered my greatest strengths. I’m incredibly proud to be a part of this industry, and I’m honored and inspired to continue to move forward with Succession Wines and Alta Cellars, building on what we started. Everything before has led up to this. This is my defining moment.
