Director of Winemaking
What led you into the world of wine?
Arbor Crest was started when I was 12, so I grew up around the industry and fell in love with the hard work.
What challenges excites you the most?
I am passionate about creating a product that brings joy and comraderie to folks, as well as bringing friends and families together. I enjoy the constant challenges of figuring out problems and finding new ways to improve our winemaking and the business, whether it be a quick fix or something long term.
What is your greatest career achievement?
Highlighting my career has been navigating 25 years of making consistently great wines and dealing with the ever-changing climate of business. This includes reinventing the way we traditionally operated during the pandemic. Starting a restaurant was pivotal to our success and our ability to fully become a destination winery. The number of times that we had to reinvent ourselves to stay relevant in the marketplace is astonishing. However, Arbor Crest is still here and going strong after 42 years of being in the wine industry!
What does your ‘happy place’ look like?
Somewhere either on a mountain top overlooking a beautiful valley or beside a beach sipping amazing wines with my husband.
