Whimsical faces grace the wine labels and walls of the new Walla Faces Winery, Tasting Room and Art Gallery in downtown Walla Walla. Owners Rick & Debbie Johnson have rebranded their winery, tasting room and inns into one name—Walla Faces: Wine, Inns, Art (known before as Walla Walla Inns at the Vineyard, and historic downtown).
The whimsical faces of Walla Faces are the work of artist Candice Johnson. The new downtown tasting room features her art on the “Wall of Faces,” hence Walla Faces.
The historic 1904 brick building houses the Walla Faces Historic Inn upstairs, and the 2200 sq. ft. winery downstairs. “The ambiance is more like a Starbucks than a tasting room. You can come in, get a glass of wine and some cheese, sit down and relax. You can even finish your last e-mail of the day using our Wi-Fi,” says owner Debbie Johnson.
Walla Faces Winery, tasting room and art gallery is at 216 East Main St. in downtown Walla Walla. Phone 877-301-1181, or visit online at www.WallaFaces.com
