Thomas O’Neil Cellars in Richland, Washington opens their doors to the public for a Grand Opening Celebration on Friday, April 15, 2011 for a fun-filled weekend of wine tasting, live music, and a chance to meet winemaker Tom O’Neil in person.

Tasting hours on Friday and Saturday of this opening weekend are 12-5pm and live music will fill the air from 7-10pm both nights. There will be a $5 tasting fee refundable with bottle purchase and no cover charge for the music. Note: though on the same dates, this is not part of Spring Barrel Weekend.
Owner and winemaker Tom O’Neil has winemaking experience at both Milbrandt Vineyards and Chateau Ste. Michelle, and along with his wife Tricia, will see their personal dream take flight when they open their doors to guests.
Thomas O’Neil Cellars specializes in handcrafted red wines with an emphasis on Rhône varietals. Wines at the tasting room will include the upper-tier Thomas O’Neil Cellars label along with the friendly-priced Fahrenheit 100 label.
With an overall focus on food-friendly wines, initial releases will include Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Chardonnay, Riesling, Grenache Rosé and a Muscat dessert wine.
