A pristine Alpine garden with cascading waterfalls, colorful flowers, stone pathways, and spectacular views of the Wenatchee and the Columbia River Valley defines Ohme Gardens. This oasis-like setting has been welcoming visitors since 1939 and great place to explore when seeking a cooler spot to take a break and breathe in the fresh mountain air.
Tasting Room Magazine’s Summer 2013 issue named Ohme Gardens as one of the Top 10 Summer Recreation Experiences in Washington wine country. If you enjoy wine tasting and gourmet food, the perfect time to visit is July 13, 2013 during the Ohme Wine & Food Gala, an event that takes place inside the garden’s magnificent grounds.
The gala is the North Central Washington’s top wine and food event of the season. Guests will savor wines from 13 Wenatchee Wine Country wineries and enjoy food pairings from 13 local chefs, while listening to live music and soaking up the incredible vistas. This benefit for Ohme Gardens is $60 per ticket if purchased by June 30, 2013; $70 July 1s through 12th and is from 5:30-8:30pm.
The following restaurants and caterers are paired with wineries: Viscontis (Jones of WA Winery), Cured (Malaga Springs Winery), Tastebuds (Horan Estates Winery), Ivy Wild (Beaumont Cellars), Smokeblossom (Martin-Scott Winery), Shaktis (Crayelle Cellars), Windmill (Stemilt Creek Winery) , Iwa Sushi (Voila Vineyards), Cashmere Cider Mill (Baroness Cellars), Inna’s Cuisine (Saint Laurent Winery), The Eatery (Esther Bricques Winery) , Chateau Grill (Chateau Faire le Pont Winery), Tendrils Restaurant (Cave B Winery)
