Woodinville-based Tinte Cellars has been an innovator on winery guest safety protocols since the start of the pandemic. They are currently open for tastings and curbside pickup at their location in the Woodinville Warehouse District, and this week have launched a “Tastings To Go” kit for those interested in a comprehensive wine tasting flight from the comfort of home.
The kit is a collection of six winemaker-selected Tinte Cellars brand wines, each poured into a sample size container (50ml each.) One of the samples is the 2018 Viognier, currently one of Washington Tasting Room Magazine’s Top Picks featured in the Summer 2020 print edition:
Tinte Cellars 2018 Columbia Valley Viognier, $27
Editor’s Choice – Outstanding, 91 pts.
Gorgeous for its vibrant structure, this white is fragrant, energetic and crisp, delivering layers of honeysuckle, jasmine, green melon, pear, white peach and juicy lemon accented with finishing touches of minerality.
Each tasting kit includes:
Tasting Flight of 6 Samples: To enhance the at-home tasting, there is a QR code on each bottle that links to six guided wine tasting videos by Tinte Cellars head winemaker Noah Fox Reed.
Wine Information Guide: The guide includes “Today’s Tasting Flight” that covers each wine being sampled; how it was made; its taste profile, and suggested pairings.
Wine Appreciation Chart: The wine appreciation chart provides an in-depth exploration into the world of wine. Wine lovers will deep dive into a sensory analysis of each wine in terms of its flavor, aromatics, and more. The chart also includes a map of Washington State American Viticultural Areas (AVA’s) showing famed wine-growing areas, such as Red Mountain and Wahluke Slope.
Wine Club Brochure: The 2020 Tinte Cellars Wine Club brochure outlines the benefits of wine club membership, and the opportunity to enjoy private tastings, discounted wine prices, access to pre-released wines, and so much more.
The Tinte Cellars’ Tastings To Go Kit is available curbside at Tinte Cellars’ Woodinville Warehouse District winery location (Friday-Sunday, 12-4 pm.)
To reserve a kit, visit: https://tintecellars.com/tasting-experiences/tastings-to-go to schedule a designated pickup date and time. For orders within 20 miles of the winery, Tinte will deliver your Tastings to Go Kit straight to your door for an additional $10.

About Tinte Cellars
In June of 2018, co-owners and husband and wife team, Tim Gamble and Teresa Spellman Gamble, daughter of the late Washington State Governor John Spellman, purchased Woodinville’s William Church and Cuillin Hills wineries creating the umbrella brand, Tinte Cellars.
Community, volunteerism, and philanthropy formed the foundation of Tim and Teresa’s upbringings; their culture. When they established Tinte Cellars, the business needed to reflect those values and their desire to leave the world better than they found it.
Each year, Tinte Cellars selects a few nonprofit organizations to receive a portion of all wine sales (right off the top). In 2020, five percent of all retail sales and 10% of all wine club sales will be split equally between Mary’s Place, Northwest Harvest, and Seattle Children’s Behavioral Health Crisis Care Clinic. In addition, Tinte invests in a wide range of programs and activities to enable its customers, employees, and partners to amplify their own positive impact on the world. In January 2020, Tinte’s philanthropic commitment of cash and in-kind donations to local nonprofits reached $177,000.00.
