If you’ve wondered what it might be like to taste wines from over 100 of Washington State’s finest wineries while snacking on gourmet bites from dozens of regional restaurants, Taste Washington! Spokane is an event not to miss. One of the Northwest’s premier wine and food events, it’s a chance to enjoy an evening of glorious tasting under one roof at the beautiful Davenport Hotel in Spokane’s downtown arts and entertainment district on Sunday, June 6, 2010 from 5pm to 8:30pm.
Spokane-area restaurants including Clinkerdagger, Latah Bistro, Moxie, and more, will provide scrumptious bites to entice food lovers. Anthony’s at Spokane Falls will return with their famed Oyster & Shellfish Bar situated next to the “White Out” bar, featuring seafood-friendly white wines that will make for the ultimate pairing experience. Cheese provided by Cheeseland Inc. and Saunders Cheese Market and dessert from The Melting Pot and Just American Desserts will provide more fun pairing opportunities.
Attendees will also be able to sip coffee and espresso provided by 4 Seasons Coffee Co. and Craven’s Coffee. As you nibble your way through Taste Washington! Spokane, ask the chefs for wine pairing suggestions.
Washington Tasting Room Magazine is a media partner of Taste Washington Spokane, part of the Washington Wine Commission’s effort to raise awareness of Washington wines both here and abroad.
