Prosser, WA, June 28, 2011 — MOJAVE by Picazo, a joint venture by Prosser’s Desert Wind Winery and Kennewick’s Picazo Restaurant & Bar, will begin offering dinner service on July 1, 2011.

Latin jazz band Café Blanco will offer live music beginning at 5:30 on opening night. Reservations are strongly encouraged and can be made by calling Desert Wind at (509) 786-7277.
MOJAVE’s menu features Southwest chop house cuisine reinterpreted with a Northwest twist, focusing on small plates, hand-cut steaks and Northwest seafood. Executive Chef Frank Magana highlights local, seasonal ingredients and sources many of the restaurant’s menu items from the Inland Empire region, often working directly with local farmers to procure produce.
